New Jollibee Chickenjoy TVC brings joy back to the Pinoy table


Today, with the wave of exciting technological innovations and new apps, people are becoming more preoccupied with their gadgets. Whether it means replying to important work emails, keeping attuned to the latest updates on social media, or fighting off and catching virtual monsters, this new normal of being glued to our screens has kept us from experiencing important and joyous face-to-face moments with family members and loved ones.

Bringing joy to the table

Jollibee, the country’s number one fast food brand, recognizes this new reality and is encouraging Filipino families to bring joy back to their tables with the best-tasting crispylicious, juicylicious, and gravylicious Chickenjoy through a new TV commercial entitled “Bunso.”

The TVC gives viewers a glimpse of a typical modern Pinoy family’s day. In the video, the youngest daughter—the adorable bunso—wants to play and spend time with her father and siblings. However, Ate and Kuya are busy updating social media accounts and playing games, while Dad is in the middle of an important work call. Bunso appears to sadly wonder—through a softhearted rendition of the OPM classic “Ewan”—why it is difficult to talk to her family. “Mahirap kausapin at ‘di pa namamansin,” Bunso laments. “’Di mo ba alam, ako’y nasasaktan?”

Just when the bunso was about to feel dismayed, her face lights up as Mom enters with a bucket of Chickenjoy for the family. As soon as Mom and bunso lift the bucket’s lid, the aroma draws the rest of the family to the dining table. Gadgets are temporarily set aside and the whole family gathers around their favorite Jollibee meal for a joyful quality time together.

“Technology has allowed us to stay up-to-date with whatever’s happening all over the world,” said Kent Mariano, Jollibee Philippines AVP for Marketing. “But despite the many benefits of being online all the time, sometimes technology makes us forget the important things that are also right in front of us. That’s why we must also remember to pause once in a while and savor the joy of missing out on gadgets and devices to enjoy personal face-to-face connections with our loved ones. This is the message we hope to share in our newest Chickenjoy TVC.”

“For years, Jollibee and our best-tasting Chickenjoy have remained committed to making family bonding moments more delicious, unforgettable, and joyful,” Mariano added. “There’s no better place to start than at the dining table, the very heart of the Pinoy home.”

Jollibee introduced Jolly Hotdog and Cheesy Classic and NEW Chili Cheese variants


Jollibee, the country’s largest fast food chain, has beefed up one of its well-loved product lines, the Jolly Hotdog, with the New Chili Cheese variant, an exciting addition to its Cheesy Classic variant.

Always served fresh, the Cheesy Classic Jolly Hotdog offers over-the-top beefy goodness with its beef hotdog in a warm bun, topped with a slightly tangy special dressing and livened up with grated cheese and tomato catsup.

Just like the Cheesy Classic variant, the New Chili Cheese Jolly Hotdog is a beef hotdog in a delicious bun, but this time topped with a generous serving of mouth-watering meaty chili and cheese sauce.



At the Jolly Hotdog’s core is a beefy, juicy hotdog that makes for a perfect treat you want to savor every bite of. This certified delish snack is packed with over-the-top flavors and textures you’ll never find in plain and boring hotdog sandwiches.

Forever Love with James Reid & Nadine Lustre with Jollibee


To celebrate their new Forever Love, James Reid and Nadine Lustre (popularly known as the on-and off-screen love team JaDine), together with Jollibee, the nation’s number one fastfood brand, surprised their avid followers with the New Forever Love Fans Day on this month at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.

Filled with special performances and fun activities, the event also allowed JaDinenians to ask their idols about their relationship, where the love birds gamely revealed the sweet and spicy side of their relationship since being officially together over five months ago. Of course, since they are popular today, an interview was done on the spot regarding Nadine Lustre and James Reid's relationship off the camera, wow this is the meatiest part of the event. Here are the video of the event:



James shared that Nadine has done a lot of things that he finds so sweet like the surprises she prepared for his last birthday. For her part, Nadine says James is also sweet in his own way, and what she finds as the sweetest gesture he did for her was when he wrote a song for her.

Aside from enjoying kilig moments, the two added that their being both fun-loving and adventurous further spices up their relationship.


“We have been traveling a lot together for work and being able to do a lot of adventures during these travels really adds spice to our relationship. Our latest one was when we went to New York where we were able to do a lot of things. Adding excitement to our relationship as well is the difference in our personality – like she’s a morning person while I am an evening person – so there’s the challenge of finding middle ground to make it work,” said James.

JaDine said that they also bond a lot over food such as their #NewForeverLove – the NEW Sweet-Spicy BBQ Burger Steak, which is made of 100 percent pure beef patty topped with Sweet-Spicy BBQ sauce and corn kernels and served with steamed rice. Prior to the newest twist to the leading fastfood chain’s well-loved Burger Steak, JaDine had also shared kilig moments over the Jollibee Classic Burger Steak, which they have dubbed as their “Forever Love.”

After watching Alodia's Fantasy in Marikina, I want to try something sweet for a while, like ice-cream; good thing that KFC and Jollibee in SM Marikina are near within each other. So, I told my friends that I'll buy first a chocolate sundae and strawberry sundae from Jollibee and I will follow them to KFC. After I received my order from Jollibee I purchase a Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Tiramisu.

We tried the chocolate and strawberry sundae from Jollibee, all I can say is that, there is nothing special about their product its just a syrup topped on a simple vanilla ice cream. Not bad for a sundae from a well known brand compare to other food store, which is just a franchise with the same price.

Next we try is the streetwise spoonful from KFC, we tried the Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Tiramisu. Kinda dissapointing because, at first you will expect that topping is an ice-cream, but, when you taste their dessert, its just an icing plus the chocolate layer at the bottom, a layer taken from Red-Ribbon chocolate cake.

The good thing about this product is sometimes you will forget your name, especially if girls are tasting their product.

Jollibee Foods: Hash Brown Burger a new food product that you want try

After an interview in one of the company that I have applied to and having a not so good result, I was so hungry and want to go home. I am assume a big meal was prepared on our table that time. Now while I am entering our house and reaching the dining room. On the table, I saw a box with a Jollibee box; I ask myself that this is not burger champ because it is not tall; the said box was wide. I am infront of the table I saw the label, Hash Brown Burger;

My brother bought a Jollibee Hash Brown Burger, so happy because I am thinking that time to try buy and make an impression.

The said food is big, as you can see on the image. Hash Brown is one of the staple food in North America, compare to our country that our staple food is mainly Rice; eventhough my staple food is Oatmeal. If you are familiar with Mashed Potato, this is one of the ingredient. The leftover of mashed potato and french-fries is the by product of Hash Brown. I am drooling already because I want the first bite, first impression on the food, is just fine no wow factor. Maybe because the burger patty that was used on the product is also used in their Jollibee Yum Burger; how I wish that they used the burger patty of their burger Champ.

The least, it relieved my frustration that time, plus it was friday night so I have time to take a rest and fix my blog.

Overall the food is not bad, its a must, to taste this new product from Jollibee especially for those who have a big appetite and want to try different product beyond the normal food that fastfood restaurant usually offer to customers. The price of the Hash Brown Burger is 69 pesos.

After that feasting, I off with a pitcher of green tea.
