Free Lapaz Batchoy at Freska and Greenhills Theater Mall
My younger brother treat me to a movie last two days ago; watched Tintin the movie — The movie was great especially people who read its comic. After that movie my brother again like to watched Immortal; should I decline the treat for the second time? Why not. So we where at the booth, I notice a sign that there is a free Lapaz Batchoy at Freska — which is located at the second floor of Promenade Greenhills — for every purchase of movie ticket at the Greenhills Theater Mall.
How to avail the Free Lapaz Batchoy at Freska
So we went there with my brother since the movie is within an hour; so, we have time to avail that free Lapaz Batchoy from Freska then. When you are at the restaurant, all you need to do is just to purchase any food for an amount of 100 pesos, and then you can avail that free Lapaz Batchoy — how about a dessert and a drink will do. The thing is, we have four tickets so we have four orders of Lapaz Batchoy.
After that eating session, the staff will sign the ticket proof that you already avail the perks of Greenhills Theater mall and Freska. I don't know until when is the said promo but I recommend this one to those who want free food before going to the movies. So Happy Watching and eating!

Korean Bicuit Orion Diget
One of my favorite past-time on our place is watching korean tv-shows especially K-pop. One of those night I watched Pops Seoul in Arirang at the same time tried this Korean wheat biscuit Diget from Orion. I bought this one from a korean store here in manila for just 65 Philippine pesos.
Take the first bite, my impression, the taste of the biscuit is just right for my taste bud, not too sweet or not too bland. With a soft surface, you can say that this biscuit was made in other country — local manufactured biscuit are too sweet and over crunchy unless the biscuit is a premium one which is kinda pricey when you buy it.
It is wheat biscuit with chocolate topping on it, the taste is so right.
For body coinscious individual; this korean snack is for you, because of the wheat which is a part of the ingredient, an essential and good for your digestion. Another thing that this biscuit is nutritious is that, it contains no Sodium which is present in other biscuit. For those who want to try other snack produce from other countries, I recommend this one. An excellent source of energy to those people on the go. This snack is perfect with green-tea or soya-milk.
So the next time that you will take a snack especially at night, you can try this one. Surely, you will definitely you will not go wrong with it. I hope local food manufacturer can also produce this kind of healthy snack. I think that time when I am watching Pop Seoul, they are airing the music video of SNSD or Girls Generation's new single from their new album, the title is boys. Happy eating and enjoy the video.

Luneta/Rizal Park: Childrens Playground
One indication that you are a true blooded Manileño or born and raise in Manila at the same time born in 80's is the Luneta or Rizal Park's Childrens Playground. Those times where life is very simple; no Ipad, Ipod, Internet, and mushroomed shopping malls in the metro; this would be the ultimate hang-out for kids and teens especially on weekends.
Located at the heart of Manila and inside the Luneta Park/Rizal Park, this place brings out a lot of memories especially in my case were I was born in the 80's and true blooded Manileño; when I saw this place again while walking from a transaction made at the Department Of Tourism, maybe I'll try to go around again and see what's new inside of it. One thing that I like about visiting the place is that, they restore the Playground and opened to the public, thanks to the City Government Of Manila for taking care of it. The entrance fee on the park is just 10 Philippine pesos.
One thing and still in my mind is their giant slide which you can spot upon entering the said playground — I still remember when I was a kid, that I keep telling myself that this Luneta Playground was the largest playground in the world.
I'll slide for a many hours whenever we will visit this place — back then for me it was forever; this would be my favorite and the only slide that I like compare to other slide in the playground because of the polished surface on it.
Another one that I like is their see-saw; it is very apparent that their see-saw are new because back then, see-saws are made of wood in their original colors — brown. I guess those were already rotten maybe of time or termites. Also, as far I remember on those times, if you don't have a partner to complete the pair, you can tagged along any kid on that area and play see-saw with you — miss those days where kids are very polite compared today, some has attitude issues.
Other scenes and things that Luneta Playground can offer to the visitors are their lifesize animals and dinosaurs.
Back then, the only that we can view dinosaurs and some animals are from books. The Philippine government is smart to have this things to offer to the public — There were no Nat-Geo, Discovery Channel, and Manila Ocean Park back then. Some of the animals and dinosaurs recieved a customize paints from Fine-Arts students from a prestigious university here in the Manila.philippine tourism
Here are some of the images of the animals and dinosaurs that are present at the playground.lunetarizalparkchildrensplayground
If you want to experience the past and simple urban-living of Manila, this place would definitely a must to visit. For tourist this is also recommended to visit the place, a perfect for families and friends. It will remind you of the past City of Manila.
Life simple pleasure. Bonding with human and nature.
Hope to see you there.
