2014 Starbucks Planner: Philippines Edition

Finally after completing 18 stickers, I got my 2014 Starbucks planner — Philippine edition, and got the Yellow variant.


Well, to be honest there is a bit no difference with the 2013 Starbucks planner the content is the same but there are some added notes to the planner, and of course, discount card as a freebies bundled with it.


The materials of this planner was made locally — I dunno what region in the Philippines the materials was used. but Starbucks is doing outreach program to help the less-fortunate people in need. Also, some of the funds are donated to those victim of typhoon Haiyan that hits Tacloban, Leyte.


Anyway, I got it already and I am happy for that & at the same time, there is freebies inside like discount for next month and so on.


So what are you waiting for, just complete the 18 stickers and you'll have this wonderful planner from Starbucks. Also, you might want to have their Starbucks card so that you can avail their perks.

Asian Dolce Latte: Starbucks drink of the month

Guess ending my weekend will be one of the most memorable of all because of my entry was chosen on the last campaign of Nuffnang —Abenson & Nokia campaign, I take home a brand new Nokia Lumia 620 from the sponsors.

After that wonderful event, I tagged my friend along to buy a new sim —micro sim for my new phone, at the same time to check the "Drink of the month" from Starbucks, the Starbucks Asian Dolce Latte. Dolce Latte is already popular in the Philippines for quite sometimes—the first time I heard Dolce Latte was back in 2011 where Nestle is introducing this one on their events by giving Dolce Latte machine to the visitors—and Starbucks is no stranger when it comes to this one.


Asian Dolce Latte is a another product from Starbucks which was introduced in Asian market this month and the Philippines is one of them; if you are a coffee drinker or a Starbucks drinker, you will definitely know the Cinnamon Dolce Latte. The difference of both products is that the Asian variant is using a different Dolce sauce which is appealing to Asian drinker compare to North American counterpart which they prefer Cinnamon Dolce flavored syrup; the ingredient and the preparation are still the same (whipped cream, steamed milk, and expresso)on both variant.

Anyway, enough of that coffee 101 here and let's go back where we enjoy drinking coffee and frappucino and not thinking anything. We ordered the ice-coffee rather than the hot one which I'm not into it.

This drink have two shots of expresso when serve; so if you are not into that hyper-palpitated thing here, then I would suggest advise the barista just to have one shot of expresso to your drink.

When you are going to take the first sip, you will taste the Dolce cream—for me it taste like a mocha syrup—below the steamed milk; there is a twist here, try to stir the drink, you will taste the strong expresso coffee which will give you that alert feeling.

This drink is ideal for those individual who will work longer hours or to wake up a little longer; perfect for night-owls, bloggers, or folks who are working at night.

Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino - Starbucks Philippines

Tried the latest drink from Starbucks that will definitely satisfy your taste buds. Topped with chocolate bits that is very sinful.

We are on an event somewhere in Mandaluyong promoting a product and giving freebies and perks by watching the latest movie the Snow White and the Huntsman. Quite early bird at the venue, we went at Starbucks to try their latest drink, the Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino.


And there it is and sipped it, all I can say that this one is one heavy chocolate coffee drink. Like I usually say whenever the taste of the chocolate has this heavy feelings, this one is also is sinful, it is very sweet.

Want to taste this one, I would definitely recommend to try this one before Starbucks will offer another drink of the month.

Starbucks Drink Of The Month: Crème Bûrlée Frappuccino/Creme Burlee Frappuccino

After that supervisor and manager's interview which took us an hour and a half, plus, the said interview was set at six in the morning, saturday. Strolling along Makati and feels sleepy, I need a little refreshment and feels positive on the said interview.



Walking at the underpass of Ayala Avenue saw a big billboard of Starbucks, I forgot it is already October and Starbucks will launch a product to excite the cofee lovers.



Good thing that I saw a 24-hr Starbucks and ordered the latest drink, told the barrista that blend the ice into a grain one, I don't like my drinks with a pebble of ice stuck on my straw, kinda irritating though especially you are already on the peak of indulgence of the said drink, I think they have a jargon on this one, layer 2 or something.

So I took already my order and ready to take the first sip, you will feel and taste the roasted caramel touching your taste bud, that is all I can say on this drink; and sipping the caramel syrup all the way through the frappucino itself, indulgence. Plus that the drink that I ordered was a blended one, you will appreciate the Crème Bûrlée Frappuccino / Creme Burlee Frappuccino more. Adding a classic glazed doughnut is a perfect match.
