Nike launched their Nike SB X Jordan 1

We all know that Basketball is the core of the Air Jordan 1 sneakers wayback in the 80's, at the same time skateboarding that time was also one culture that is very important to sneaker culture evolution. What if one day that both culture meet and share the same interest in one sneaker.

That's where Nike introduce the Nike SB X Jordan 1.

The shoe is still base on the Air Jordan 1 design, but this one comes in a green-and-black motif in leathers and an "AJ One SB" gravings on it; it was done by the Multimedia artist Craig Stecyk which is said that this was taken way in 1982 on a Skating magazine, also the iconic skateboarder Lance Mountain is also involved on this campaign — he is the one who pulled Air Jordan 1 back in the skateboarding scene in the 80's.

The said shoe will be released this on March 15, 2014. Skateboaders/Trasher will definitely love this shoe, I assure you that.

Here are some images of the Nike SB X Jordan 1, enjoy!

Diadora shoes at Katy Perry's Dark Horse video

The last time that I have a Diadora sneaker was way back in elementary using at my Physical education class besides my Lotto sneakers.

This is just the reference of that shoes that I am telling you about.

Well, enough of those past for now, Katy Perry's newest video Dark Horse is one of the cool videos that they have produced, at the same time you will notice something on some of the scenes like the palace guards are wearing the Diadora Mi Basket II shoes — another similar design with Nike's Air-Force One 70's, well I guess shoe makers nowadays are reviving the their old glory days.

Another part on that video is where the rapper Juicy J is making his part with Katy Perry at the pole, well Katy Perry is wearing a Diadora Kim W Lurex shoes which I think it will attract dancers or fashionistas and add to their style.

Well that all about for now, I guess. Enjoy the video!

Philippines Sneakers: Grosby Shoes

Another brand that is established in the Philippines way in the 80's — well, besides World Balance though — Grosby shoes, this Australian brand have already made its trademark among Filipinos when PBA players are wearing their signature shoes at the same time the famous PBA player Billie Ray Bates aka "Black Superman" wearing a "Mythical Five" basketball shoes — design similar to Nike's 1970 Air Force One.

Well, I'm happy that Grosby is still alive and kicking, and still offering the Mythical Five design which is perfect for modern fashion, and fashionista alike.

Besides the Mythical Five, they are also offering running shoes and casual shoes for gimickeros out there.

Vegetable Pizza by Simply Bread

The vegetable pizza by Simply Bread is your best bet if you are minimizing eating meat, well this Pizza is perfect for those people who wants to minimizing their intake of meat — I am pertaining to Beef and Pork which is an important ingredient of every Pizza — but still want to experience eating a normal Pizza.

Guys from Simply Bread is so smart in putting this product in the market, what I am pertaining to their Pizza for those "people on-the-go" — people who do not want to wait for 15-30 minutes for the Pizza to be cooked.

The pizza consist of Mushroom, Green Pepper, other vegetables, and Mozerella Cheese. What good about is that this their Vegetable Pizza is affordable, the price is around Php 36/ 36 Philippines pesos, that is not bad for a piece though.

So what are you wating for, if you want to try their Pizza, be my guess I highly recommend this Pizza. Oh by the way, I bought mine at one of their branches in Shaw — Worldwide Corporate Center, just besides the flyover and in front of Starmall facing Shaw boulevard.

Philippine's Sneakers: World Balance shoes

If you live in the urban city of Manila back in the 80's until early 2000, brand like World Balance will be remembered as the shoes of the the Filipinos, ranging from lower class to the middle class which compose the majority of the country's population.

One thing that I remember this sneakers when you Physical education or PE class, this is the time where you can showoff your "Rubber" shoes, well besides those Nike Air Jordans, Adidas Classics, and those high-cut Converse chucks; World Balance will be the next on the list. Well those were back then.

This modern times where Lebron James XIII, retro Air-Jordans, Kobe 8 or 9, or Derrick Rose 3 or 4 are the only brands that every people know — sad to say though, what can I do, media of course; I never thought that World Balance still exist, at the same time they are still producing modern design sneakers to the Filipino consumer.

There is one product of this brand caught my attention, and the product is World Balance Bankshot.

I must admit, I am really hooked up with vibrant colors. Those Spider man blue and Neon Apple Green caught my attention — well to be honest, the color scheme is similar to Adidas Derrick Rose 3.5 series.

Anyway, still like the design and still want it though. What is impressed me is the price, the sneaker is sold at 2,399 Philippin pesos which is not bad.

You may want to check their other products that might interest you.
