Back in college, I go to Wendys Hamburger either to for lunch or to try their new food product. There were also a time that the staff thinks that I am courting one of their crew which is also my high school classmate. I usually order the chicken burger and the famous Bacon Mushroom melt burger with upgraded ice tea and fries. I cannot forget those days because we usually having a good times like going to movies.




What do you do if you have a big credit to your credit card account and you do not know where to spend it plus you are craving for food because you are hungry. The answer try Wendys Hamburgers. So I got credit from my credit card account; want to try the Baconator. So I went to SM Manila to try this Baconator and to feel the place; its been awhile since I ate at Wendys because I already taste all their products.




I got the burger and all I can say is that this burger is big; two burger patties; 100% pure beef, yes it is pure beef and it is still pure beef, the taste is still the same just like before; their patties are still the same and the preparation of it; very simple. Stuffed with melting cheese and bacon that will melt in your mouth. For just 300 pesos you can avail this heavy meal from Wendys with a fries and a drink; Coca Cola products, and plus 15 pesos for their ice tea, whether classic or less sugar. There is a change in there fries, because they are using natural fries compared before which is a processed french fries. One more thing, they accept credit card which is good.

If you want to try the all American Hamburgers; I mean the classic one. Try Wendys hamburgers. Another thing if you are a figure conscious and want to try this food. I suggest to take a green tea after eating this Baconator.

Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino and Mint Java Chip Frappucino: Starbucks new product for August

Starbucks always excite whenever they are going to launch new product to offer their customers a sweet treat. Everytime that there is a new product, I am on a hurry to buy and to try taste it. Starbucks launch their two new product to satisy those caffeine fanatics. After practicing photography, I went to the nearest Starbucks Coffee shop and have a sip in Ortigas and ended in Starbucks Podium.



The one that I bought is the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino because I do not like the minty after-taste of the Mint Jave Chip Frappucino. The other thing that I like about the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino is how it is prepared. The chocolate sauce on the top of the cream; the combination of the roast coffee in a whole milk blended with hazelnut syrup and chocolate sauce.

The preparation of the Mint Java Chip Frappucino is different compare to the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino. The ingredients are roast coffee same with the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino, frappucino chips, whole milk with additional mint syrup on it; topped with luciouos cream and chocolate sauce. The experience of the minty after taste is the trademark of this drink.



These drinks are masterpiece from the master of coffee Starbucks. The said drinks will be promoted until September 12 of this year because Starbucks Coffee will surely release another sweet product.

Cowboys and Aliens, Pizza from Pizza Hut, and Nuffnang. One Hot Event

After a whole daw interview in Ortigas, its time to have myself a good time because one of my content on my blog was chosen for the second time. So I took the first train that will bound to Gateway Cubao.



Ok, So I am excited I arrive early than expected; took pictures on the place and around the Gateway Mall with my brother.

The said venue is in the fourth-floor of Gateway Mall which also their cinema is located. After strolling around Gateway Mall and looking around on the said condominium that is for sale; that would be the Manhattan Square Garden, developed by Megaworld we went back to the said event organized by Pizza Hut Philippines and Nuffnang.



Went to the registration booth to verify my name. After the verification we proceed to the line to have some food which Pizza Hut gave to the winners.

Foods that were offered to us is a french fries, mozarella stick, and my favorite chicken finger and additional to that is an iced tea as a drink.



I really loved what Pizza Hut and Nuffnang did. After that munch its movie time.



Where on line for the movie; there is a little bit commotion along the way that is very funny. There where folks that protesting about pizza's that was served cold to them; laughing there also, how I wish that I brought an oven to heat the pizzas that they are eating. After that scenario the management of gateway cinema gave us a free popcorn and free drink; mineral water to be exact.




Before the movie starts the management of Pizza Hut is thanking the people inside the cinema for believing on their product and promoting the new and improved Pizza Hut delivery service; the Pizza Hut Hot On The Dot.



Just little fact here; did you know that Pizza Hut pioneered the pizza delivery system here in the Philippines? How about that for a big pizza company that embraces the Filipino culture.



On top of that besides providing a free food outside, Pizza Hut also gave free pizza inside the cinema. Oh my! Food... food... food... again!! yahoo!!



So its movie time, its alien bashing time headed by Daniel Craig.


The quote "good things in life comes for free" do exist; free food, free movies, and freebies, that is what can I say. The mix taste of salty, spicy, and the some crunchy part of a pork skin will definitely excite your tastebud and will return for more. In Iloilo there is a restaurant that offers Lapaz Batchoy on their menu; the restaurant is Teds. When I was in Iloilo we eat at Teds in SM City Iloilo City. The said restaurant has also other branches in Iloilo which you can visit. After a main dish how about a sweet dessert which also Ilonggos are also famous; one of their sweet dessert is my favorite Iloilo Butterscotch.

The other that I have found out is that they come in different flavor; before there is only one flavor and I cannot identify what is it, but definitely a very good taste. Last Sunday I went to SM Sta. Mesa to meet with my former co-worker in automotive industry because of a business deal. When I reach the SM Sta. Mesa Mall, I saw a big size advertisement stand infront and it says sale. I forgot it is SM's three day sale. The sale started on Friday until that day, so I am curious about this because this will be the first time that I will enter this mall on a sale event; because I usually go to SM Mall Manila if there is a sale.

I was suprised by the people inside of the mall buying things at low prices.



So I already met my former co-worker a litter chit chat and went to second floor; he wants to buy a dozen from Go Nuts Donuts for his daughters. Go Nuts Donuts has a promo when you buy half a dozen donut you will the half for free. I have taste this donut and they are great their taste is similar to America's Krispy Kreme.



McDonalds Bigmac: a yummy treatment



After that went to Mc Donald's to have lunched. He was so generous that he treated me with a BigMac Meal; the last time I have tasted this one back in January. Ordered a complete meal; with big fries and drinks. After that meal went somewhere on that place to talk about business. Took about one and half hours on it and we feel hungry again after a brisk we a newly opened restaurant.

ChicBoy Restaurant Sta. Mesa: A grand opening



The new restaurant is the ChicBoy; means Chicken and Baboy or Pork. This restaurant is equivalent to Mang Inasal Chicken House. Both restaurant offers the same Inasal Chicken which originated from Bacolod southern part of the Philippines, but one that I like most of this two restaurant is they are offering an unlimited rice; means rice all you can. After that food adventure went back to SM Sta. Mesa to say goodbye to my friend.



And went back to SM City Sta. Mesa to watch the Chess Tournament which located at the cinema section of SM City Sta. Mesa.



Mezza Residence Condominium Sta. Mesa

Public transport is accessible 24 hours like public jeepney which have trips in Cubao in Quezon City and in Divisoria in Manila; Buses which bound to Rizal province like Taytay and Cainta, and the Light Rail Transit station 2. Schools like CCP or Central College of the Philippines and UERM which is owned by the University of the East is just beside the condominium that is for sale. Security is no problem because of the station is just below of the said condominium.

Siomai of Siomai House One of the Best Bang For the Buck Siomai

Two years already and I still love this siomai from Siomai House, the taste is so perfect that you do not need a chili sauce on it. You can see their stall along LRT station one, MRT, and LRT station two. For just 25 pesos you can avail this sumptous siomai that will fulfills your tummy.



As far as I remember the first taste of this siomai is when I worked in Toyota Philippines. I am just curious about the taste of this one and try to compare to its competitor Siomai King.



After that I stick to the siomai of Siomai House because of the taste; so simple no other taste that your taste bud will encounter compared to other siomai franchise out there. Every lunch I went to LRT station two cubao station grab a bite of this siomai. Even now I am working in a different industry I usually go for this siomai, it is so addictive even my former coleauges from the automotive industry, when we see and they are treating me, I request this food with no chili on it; sometimes when I am craving for this one I go for four orders.

From what I see from their stand. Siomai King is owned by Bernabest Food which their office is located in Caloocan. The franchise fee of Siomai King ranges from 250,000 pesos to 300,000 pesos. Not bad for a food franchise investment.
