2014 Starbucks Planner: Philippines Edition

Finally after completing 18 stickers, I got my 2014 Starbucks planner — Philippine edition, and got the Yellow variant.


Well, to be honest there is a bit no difference with the 2013 Starbucks planner the content is the same but there are some added notes to the planner, and of course, discount card as a freebies bundled with it.


The materials of this planner was made locally — I dunno what region in the Philippines the materials was used. but Starbucks is doing outreach program to help the less-fortunate people in need. Also, some of the funds are donated to those victim of typhoon Haiyan that hits Tacloban, Leyte.


Anyway, I got it already and I am happy for that & at the same time, there is freebies inside like discount for next month and so on.


So what are you waiting for, just complete the 18 stickers and you'll have this wonderful planner from Starbucks. Also, you might want to have their Starbucks card so that you can avail their perks.

Starbucks Hojicha Green Tea Latte and Frappucino

Starbucks Philippines launched their drink of the month for the year 2013, Starbucks Hojicha Green Tea Latte and Frappucino.

If you are a Green tea drinker(and to those who adds milk on their Green Tea) you'll definitely love its unique taste.


First, we try the Hojicha Green Tea Latte; when you open the lid of its cup, it has this bubbly appearance at the same time, you will see the Green tea content. The taste, a strong Green tea extract mixed with Milk will be your first impression once you take the first sip; what I like about it is that it is perfect, not too sweet and not too bitter which Green tea is famous for.


Hojicha Green Tea Frappucino

For those people who fond of hot drinks, Stabucks also has a Hojicha Green Tea in Frappucino variant. Our first impression of the Hojicha Green tea Frappucino, it has this taste of Mocha, Cookies and Cream which is not an ingredient of this drink. Another interesting about it is that on your left portion of your Tongue once you have a sipped, it has this Cofee taste experience; on the middle portion of your Tongue, you will experience the mix taste of Cookies & Cream, and Mocha.

It doesn't have an after-taste experience when it passed through throat way down to your tummy, very common to their Coffee base Frappucino --guess this is one feature of a Green tea; and the longer lasting Green tea experience that stays on your Tongue.

Starbucks Whoopie Pie

Starbucks yet again introduced another sweet stuff that definitely you'll love, the Starbucks Whoopie Pie.

If you are familiar with Fibisco's Marshmallow (a chocolate stuffed with marshmallow inside), it is the same with this one, but Whoopie Pie has this sinful sweetness that Starbucks can offer, also the appearance of the food is cute, thought a gullible fellow or squirt. A perfect combination on this chocolate stuff is a Choco Crumble Frappuccino.

You will never get wrong on this one.

Starbucks Frappuccino: Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha | Toffee Nut | Peppermint Mocha

Another month passed, and a new drink of the month by Starbucks will yet again exhilerate those tastebuds of coffee lovers. This month, the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino is the newest drink that is offered to customers. The Toffee Nut Frappuccino and the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino was already introduced last year — I cannot forget the first order of this two because the barista on that Starbucks branch made a mistake.

Anyway, I'll try to take a sip again on the two drinks which usually offered on the month of December. They are the Toffee Nut and Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino.

Starbucks: Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino

I tried the newest drink; first impression is its good. The strawberry syrup matched with Cranberry bits tops the whip cream. The first layer of this drink is a white chocolate and below of it, is the caramel. It is very apparent especially on your tastebuds the taste, or when you adjust your straw to those layers.

Starbucks: Toffee Nut Frappuccino


This drink was already introduced last year. Since my blog was put up this year, I will give you an idea what is the taste of this one. This drink is quite conservative, because of the ingredients and the preparation — No fancy syrups or other stuff was put into this one; but, among the three this has the strongest essence of roasted coffee topped with Toffee Nuts on the whip cream; so if you are sleepy and you want to be awaked, I recommend this one.

Starbucks: Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino


Among the three, this is the most challenging drink. The reason why is because, you will feel the minty taste of the peppermint colliding with the essence of the Mocha on your tastebuds — you will feel a heavy feeling on this drink. But this is only in my experience, but yet again, it will depend on the person's preference.

All I can say is whenever December is coming I feel excited everytime that Starbucks released a new drink to the market. So what are you waiting for, go get a drink.

Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino and Mint Java Chip Frappucino: Starbucks new product for August

Starbucks always excite whenever they are going to launch new product to offer their customers a sweet treat. Everytime that there is a new product, I am on a hurry to buy and to try taste it. Starbucks launch their two new product to satisy those caffeine fanatics. After practicing photography, I went to the nearest Starbucks Coffee shop and have a sip in Ortigas and ended in Starbucks Podium.



The one that I bought is the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino because I do not like the minty after-taste of the Mint Jave Chip Frappucino. The other thing that I like about the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino is how it is prepared. The chocolate sauce on the top of the cream; the combination of the roast coffee in a whole milk blended with hazelnut syrup and chocolate sauce.

The preparation of the Mint Java Chip Frappucino is different compare to the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino. The ingredients are roast coffee same with the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino, frappucino chips, whole milk with additional mint syrup on it; topped with luciouos cream and chocolate sauce. The experience of the minty after taste is the trademark of this drink.



These drinks are masterpiece from the master of coffee Starbucks. The said drinks will be promoted until September 12 of this year because Starbucks Coffee will surely release another sweet product.
