Mister Kabab now in Manila

I guess, if you are those people who hangs out at night every weekends — I mean going out with your friends, going to club in Tomas Morato, Libis, Makati, and The Fort; you'll never forget this Persian restaurant since their place is located between Quezon Avenue and West Avenue.

Mister Kabab is memorable to us because this is the only that serve Persian food that time which near at our place — Well, besides its competitor near Timog Avenue.

Now, I would like to tell you guys that Mister Kabab is already branched out in the City of Manila.

What to expect from them? All I can say is that their service, food, and amenities are better.

The ambience of the place is modern compared to its main branch where you will experience the Persian environment of the place.


Well, I know that this is not a big deal; however, in their earlier years, the menu list is a short bond-paper that is laminated.


The packaging of the food (for Shawarma and Kebab burger) is way better. At the first bite of their Shawarma and the Kebab Burger, oh men! The best Persian food in the city.


And of course, their famous Milk-Shake that I cannot forget. Still the best!

By the way, if you want to try Persian food in Manila, then I recommend this place. Their location is at the Mezza Place in Sta. Mesa Manila, that is along Araneta Avenue and Aurora Blvd; near SM City Sta. Mesa (Also know as SM Centerpoint).

Storm Nesat/Pedring: after its rage in Manila

After Manila was hit by storm Nesat/Pedring, its time for the urban city of Manila to regain its strength and prosperity. From the news, storm Nesat/Pedring is different compared to other typhoon especially the storm Ondoy which . In Manila, Roxas boulevard was severely hit by the storm because of the storm surge brought by the storm; the whole place boulevard was flooded as if it is part of the shore. I was at home that and listening to the howling sound of its wind of the storm, I think the whole day I was so bum at home because I have nothing to do, just tweaking my websites. I'm still lucky because we do have still an electricity compared to other place in Manila. After the storm leaves the Philippines, I grab my camera and went to Ermita here in Manila, because the part of Roxas Boulevard that was hit by the storm surge is Ermita Manila.


So I was walking in Taft Avenue, I already saw casualty that the storm left with.

So I am still walking along T.M Kalaw, fallen trees and branches along the way especially infront of the National Library.



So I already reach the starting point of Roxas Boulevard. The water is gone, but the whole stretch of Roxas Boulevard was covered by mud.





The Museo Pambata or Children's Museum Manila is one of the victim by the storm Nesat/Pedring, the place was devasted, trees were uprooted and the road within the premises was covered in mud. The local government of Manila are now trying to restore the said establishment.





Because the whole Roxas Boulevard was covered in mud, heavy traffic occur. Even the United States Embassy is restoring its operation after the storm.




I was at the shore of Manila Bay, you will still feel the presence of the storm by its gustiness wind that surround the place. At the same time it is high-tide, so expect a high waves breaking the walls along the bay.






When I was going to Quirino Grandstand, along the way, commercial establishment within the premises are closed, and covered with mud. Even my chucks also taste the mud.



Walls on some properties are destroyed because of strong winds that hit Manila last tuesday.





Manila Ocean Park is also recovering, because the place was flooded.

I hope that this storm that hits Manila would be the last. Being prepared is one way to survive this kind of disaster. But still the Urban City of Manila will survive.

Last Sunday I went to SM Sta. Mesa to meet with my former co-worker in automotive industry because of a business deal. When I reach the SM Sta. Mesa Mall, I saw a big size advertisement stand infront and it says sale. I forgot it is SM's three day sale. The sale started on Friday until that day, so I am curious about this because this will be the first time that I will enter this mall on a sale event; because I usually go to SM Mall Manila if there is a sale.

I was suprised by the people inside of the mall buying things at low prices.



So I already met my former co-worker a litter chit chat and went to second floor; he wants to buy a dozen from Go Nuts Donuts for his daughters. Go Nuts Donuts has a promo when you buy half a dozen donut you will the half for free. I have taste this donut and they are great their taste is similar to America's Krispy Kreme.



McDonalds Bigmac: a yummy treatment



After that went to Mc Donald's to have lunched. He was so generous that he treated me with a BigMac Meal; the last time I have tasted this one back in January. Ordered a complete meal; with big fries and drinks. After that meal went somewhere on that place to talk about business. Took about one and half hours on it and we feel hungry again after a brisk we a newly opened restaurant.

ChicBoy Restaurant Sta. Mesa: A grand opening



The new restaurant is the ChicBoy; means Chicken and Baboy or Pork. This restaurant is equivalent to Mang Inasal Chicken House. Both restaurant offers the same Inasal Chicken which originated from Bacolod southern part of the Philippines, but one that I like most of this two restaurant is they are offering an unlimited rice; means rice all you can. After that food adventure went back to SM Sta. Mesa to say goodbye to my friend.



And went back to SM City Sta. Mesa to watch the Chess Tournament which located at the cinema section of SM City Sta. Mesa.



Mezza Residence Condominium Sta. Mesa



Sta. Mesa is one of the strategic place here in Manila. There are several development happening already, one of them are the Mezza residence, a condominium built and owned by SM Development Corporation. The said condominium is already built all you need to do is to move in.




By the way the condominium here are for sale and offering three option: a studio unit for a price range of 1.3 million pesos to 1.4 million pesos, one bedroom unit; price ranging from 1.9 million pesos to 3.6 million pesos, and the last is two bedroom option; price range from 5.29 million pesos.




Beside that condominium, there is a nearby shopping mall which you can buy things that you need, like the SM City Sta. Mesa or SM Centerpoint. The other one is the SM Savemore grocery store which is just below the Mezza Residence condominium. One thing I like about this Savemore by SM is they operate from seven in the morning until 11 at night. Fast food chain like Jollibee and Greenwhich which owned by the Jollibee Foods Corporation is just infront of the Mezza Residence condominium and opens 24 hours. The other one is Starbucks Coffee which they operational until 12 in the morning.


Public transport is accessible 24 hours like public jeepney which have trips in Cubao in Quezon City and in Divisoria in Manila; Buses which bound to Rizal province like Taytay and Cainta, and the Light Rail Transit station 2. Schools like CCP or Central College of the Philippines and UERM which is owned by the University of the East is just beside the condominium that is for sale. Security is no problem because of the station is just below of the said condominium.
