This will be the second that I will go to this event, but this time I got my invites from Jack Daniel's Fright Fest held on October 21 at the Eastwood City Citywalk.
The event showcase Filipino talent; voting their favorite band by purchasing Jack Daniel's Whiskey, either by a shot or a bottle.
To kick start the event started the event with Salamin jamming the show. Next band played is Kelevra, this is my one of my favorite band since the first time that I went to the Jack Daniel's event, they are in Terrorist outfit that time to spiced up their performance.
What I like at the event is their host, a Captain Jack Sparrow, an exact copy and portrayal of the character.
If you watched the MTV of Urbandub's Gravity, he is the one also, the nightmare I guess of the girl; if Captain Jack Sparrow will at any Cosplay events, he will be a hit; apologize there but Captain Jack Sparrow on that event ROCK!!
After Kelevra, I guess they are the Bjork of the Philippines Playphonics from "Iceland" Tacloban rocks the stage with Bjork's Army Of Me; hope I can request for the All is full of love by Bjork.
Playphonics band members "cosplay" as zombies while their vocalist as Bjork, she look like Bjork.
Guest band Sunflower Day Camp played next, Go Bedans!
Next, is the energetic, chick magnet band Blue Boy Bites Back; the first time that I heard they played, girls are screaming to their highest pitch, adoring this guys; with the medic and doctor outfit at the event, they will cure any sickness of every patient that they will diagnosed instantly.
A little slow down music was provided by Jack Versus the Crab at the event. The vocalist straight-up a bottle of Jack Daniel's, with his drummer sharing the spirit.
Also at the event they announced the cosplay winners, I hope more cosplayers joined the said event. Winners are cosplayers of Snake-Eyes from Gi-Joe and the Queen from the movie Queen Of The Damned by the late Aliyah.
And then, Mr. Bones & the Boneyard Circus started again the rock with their original track and Miserlou by Dick Dale and His Del Tones, soundtrack from the movie Pulp Fiction; complete zombie at the event. Again, The energy level of the crowd especially girls rised up when Jejavu started to play.
To end the event, Urbandub rocked the stage with their tracks from their albums. A very successful event again from Jack Daniel's; hope I could get again invites from their events.
