Hershey's Treats: New Chocolate treat in town

Hershey's are now trying to penetrate the Philippine market especially the C and below segment. Hershey's introduced three yummy product that will definitely will give the local chocolate maker a competition, Hershey's Treat Cookie Bar, Choco Roll, and Crunchy Bar.

We did a taste test on these three chocolate bars and all I can say they are worth every penny compared to others.


The first chocolate that we try is the Hershey's Treat Cookie Bar, the product is similar to Fibisco's Mallow - chocolate cookie with marshmallow on the top, and covered with chocolate; the difference between this one and the other product in the market is that the marshmallow on this one is firm and it is a chocolate marshmallow.


Hershey's Treat Crunchy bar, this would be the equivalent of Nestle's Crunch and Jack & Jill's Bing Bang chocolate bar because of the rice crispies covered with chocolate on it. The only thing that this one different is that the nougat inside is stuffed, you can taste the nougat on your lips and will not break as in you can chew it.



This one gets my vote and definitely the winner, the Hershey's Treat Choco Roll is a rolled chocolate wafer with chocolate filling inside, topped with chocolate with chocolate bits on it. The taste is very indulging that I bought a box of this product because it is very addictive.

Besides the price of these products are bang for the buck, the other thing about the products are that the chocolate is so stuffed that if you don't drink water afterwards, you will definitely have a tonsilitis or a tootache. For only Php. 6.50 you can buy the products.

Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino and Mint Java Chip Frappucino: Starbucks new product for August

Starbucks always excite whenever they are going to launch new product to offer their customers a sweet treat. Everytime that there is a new product, I am on a hurry to buy and to try taste it. Starbucks launch their two new product to satisy those caffeine fanatics. After practicing photography, I went to the nearest Starbucks Coffee shop and have a sip in Ortigas and ended in Starbucks Podium.



The one that I bought is the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino because I do not like the minty after-taste of the Mint Jave Chip Frappucino. The other thing that I like about the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino is how it is prepared. The chocolate sauce on the top of the cream; the combination of the roast coffee in a whole milk blended with hazelnut syrup and chocolate sauce.

The preparation of the Mint Java Chip Frappucino is different compare to the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino. The ingredients are roast coffee same with the Hazelnut Mocha Frappucino, frappucino chips, whole milk with additional mint syrup on it; topped with luciouos cream and chocolate sauce. The experience of the minty after taste is the trademark of this drink.



These drinks are masterpiece from the master of coffee Starbucks. The said drinks will be promoted until September 12 of this year because Starbucks Coffee will surely release another sweet product.
