Yet again, Samsung pushes its boundaries on their latest release of their Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S7 by having a high-fashion photoshoot. They push it on both underwater & at low-light situation which latest smartphone is unable to do.
They commissioned the project to the two famous fashion photographer; Marc Nicdao, and BJ Pascual. Both of them provided the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as their camera, replacing the conventional DSLR which is very common in the fashion industry. Also, their models are not your ordinary models which you can get in a fashion house or agencies. They're going to shoot celebrities Solenn Heussaff-Bolzico & her bff Georgina Wilson-Burnand; for Solenn, they did an underwater shoot, and for Georgina they did test the phone to a low-light situation.
Those shots where exhibited to the public at the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S7: Dark Blue event. Its a private event where they shown to the chosen few the result of the shoot, and stating that ability of the smartphone that they are water-resistant, and low-light where DSLR and some Mirrorless camera reign supreme.
Held at the Green Sun in Makati City, the said event was attended by fashion mogul, and celebrities.
