FOOD Magazines' Food Tasting - Deliciously Healthy

"Learn Recipes, Tips And Strategies To Eating Right", this is their slogan of Food Magazines Food Tastings event

Event happened at Eastwood Mall, the show focused on having a healthy food on your table without sacrificing the taste, using organic ingredient and simple techniques on how to prepare them.

To start the event, Chef Anthony Macaraeg shows the audience how to prepare a healthy burger, which you cannot see that on burgers nowadays. The burgers that he prepared are Fitburger and Breakfast Burger.

It's very rare that you will spot a burger that is healthy and it was a clean preparation.

Chef Anthony Macaraeg

Next was Chef Deejay Santos with his unique Mediterranean Chicken and Couscous.

Next was Chef Matthew Bates of The Early Bird showing us on how to prepare his "Fun" breakfast foods; they are Poached Salmon Aioli, and Breakfast Sausage Tart which are my favorites on that show.

Guess this will be one of the unique delicacies that was showcased at the event; the Seafood Sotanghon with Black Ink by Chef Nancy Dizon-Edralin.

Last but not the least, Chef Robby Loco prepared and showcased his delicacies that I considered one of the most organic and native approach at the show. He prepared Pad Thai Salad and Mushroom and Kale Paella.

A successful event, at the same time audience where full at the time because of the food that were seved by famous chef which represent their signature foods.

Food Tastings event was powered by Food Magazine — an ABS-CBN Publishing, Lifestyle Network, Sapporo Noodles, Petron Gasul, and Tefal Cookingware.

On-trend: Shang Fashion Fete, Your Everyday Fashion Looks, Rules The Runway

Top lifestyle destination Shangri-La Plaza proves to be right on-trend with its latest Shang Style Spectrum Fashion Show, Everyday Chic, showcasing the trends you should be wearing now, and key pieces from big name local and global labels that make for the chicest looks that take you from day to night.

The clever and contemporary take on styles inspired by bygone eras, Modern Retro is making its way as the biggest fashion influence this season. Brands Anne Klein, Banana Republic, Debenhams, DKNY, G2000, Juicy Couture, Original Penguin and Superdry, present printed and textured, high-waisted and flared pieces that inject that coveted retro vibe into your modern wardrobe.

Consistently carefree, effortless, and really pretty, it’s not hard to see why Boho has a captured a large part of our fashion heart. Aeropostale, Desigual, Mango, and Old Navy fill your closet with luxurious caftans, flowing maxi dresses, bell-sleeved blouses, flare, fringe, floral, and faux fur for charming ensembles that look gracefully put together.

Fitness continues its moment in fashion, and whether or not you’re a gym buff, you won’t be able to help but want to dress like one soon enough. Modern Athletics is still at the top of its game, and J Lindenberg, Lacoste, Regatta, and Topshop, have all the updated sporty riffs – athletic dresses, graphic prints, and sheer panels – that turn everyday wear into active ones.

A sartorial theme that has caught many a fashionista’s eye is Urban Chic, the elevated streetwear style. A/X, CK Jeans, Gap, Kenneth Cole, Muji, Springfield, Topman, True Religion, and Versace present edgy, asphalt-ready looks that let you hit the pavement this season in sleek, new streetwear that can stop traffic.

Capping off our trend round-up, fashion has fallen for the mystical far East. Marks & Spencer, Reiss, and Rustan’s showcase Oriental influences, referencing the luxury and excess of ancient empires. Dress up in opalescent fabrics, and pieces carrying traditional motifs and kimono cuts and detailing to add a dose of glamour and mystery to your daily sartorial statements.
