2011 BUM Grand Fashion Show: Reveal Your Darkside

The only thing that I know about BUM equipment is, they are local brand that produced apparel — like RRJ (Ruff Ryder Jean) and Freego, stuff like that.


Anyway, my friend posted an announcement on his facebook page that BUM will held a cosplay tournament at the same time a Grand Fashion show. Our goal is to watched only the cosplay competition and thats it and after we will go somewhere else. But, I come across that let me take a look of their collection which are locally produced — I used to watch international brands like Junn.J, Levis, and Topman; for locals Folded & Hung and American Blvd all the way if budget permits.

Happened on Novemeber 25,2011 at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia the main program started around six or seven in the evening. At the first time I saw their collection, the denims are pretty neat and descent especially skinny-jeans for men, hi-tops converse chuck-taylor pair with a black simple tee will do the trick. One thing that I find it very apparent on the fashion event is the make-up by the men; they were inspired by Katy Perry's E.T. music video — The Deer make-up done to Katy Perry.

Korean Food: Kimchi Ramen and Crispy Toasted Seaweed Flakes

So my friend and I went on a korean food hopping here in Manila and talk anything about Korean Culture — planning also to promote one of my website that promotes Korean Pop here in the Philippines. So, I purchase the food Kimchi Ramen and Seaweed Flakes; and went home.


I cooked and prepared the food to taste this one; also, crispy toasted seaweed flakes was added to my meal in order to try something else and getting the health benefits. Take the first sip of the Kimchi Ramen, first reaction on the soup was one spicy taste, I mean, very spicy soup that I almost cried and cough; even the taste of the seaweed did not pacify or neutralize the spicy taste of this Kimchi Ramen; take note, I haven't eaten its noodles yet so I assume that is more hot when I already ate the noodles. While I am eating this food, my sweat is starting come out on my forehead and the itchy sensation on my cow-lick — it means that I am eating a hot or spicy food without any water intake.


The next time that I will prepare this Korean delicacy, instead of a seaweed flakes, a boiled pork meat as a topping to this ramen. It is better if instead of soda, a green tea will be your drink; it will also add health benefits to your body.


In South Korea, Kimchi is one of the staple food usually prepared on their tables. Kimchi also have many varieties that are prepared to satisfied are hungry tummies. Also, it is one of the nutritious food that I ever tasted and read on the books or on the internet.


So if you want to taste the Korean-Culture the first thing that you want to taste is their Kimchi ramen before anything else.

KFC Zinger Double Down Sandwich: Another monster meal

When I saw this ferrocious monster meal from a television ads. No questions asked went to the nearest KFC or Kentucky Fried Chicken food branch to taste this product. I am already drooling over this food.

So I got my order at the counter.


My first observation is the packaging of the KFC Zinger Double Down; KFC made a conservative approach on their packaging on this one, a plain paper with a hard carton that support the whole product; this kind of packaging are very apparent to those sandwiches that you can see on those first-class restaurant or fine-dinning restaurant.


Take the first bite; my impression on the food, is just a normal chicken patties stuffed with cheese and mayo without the bread; if you are already fed up with their Zinger sandwich you'll just experience this one without the bread. It is not bad if you want to try this new product from KFC. The usual setup whenever you order a double-down burger, you will purchase a rice worth five pesos in carinderia or go home and matched it with a big plate of rice; because rice in KFC is pricey and too small for those guys who has big appetite. The good thing on this one is less salty compared to the original recipe.

The retail price of this food is 150 pesos for the combo meal—KFC French Fries and KFC Drinks (can be soda or iced tea, additional charge for the juice drink)—and 120 pesos for the ala-carte or just the KFC Zinger Double Down only.



So what are you waiting for, go get this monster meal and indulge yourself.

Starbucks Frappuccino: Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha | Toffee Nut | Peppermint Mocha

Another month passed, and a new drink of the month by Starbucks will yet again exhilerate those tastebuds of coffee lovers. This month, the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino is the newest drink that is offered to customers. The Toffee Nut Frappuccino and the Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino was already introduced last year — I cannot forget the first order of this two because the barista on that Starbucks branch made a mistake.

Anyway, I'll try to take a sip again on the two drinks which usually offered on the month of December. They are the Toffee Nut and Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino.

Starbucks: Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino

I tried the newest drink; first impression is its good. The strawberry syrup matched with Cranberry bits tops the whip cream. The first layer of this drink is a white chocolate and below of it, is the caramel. It is very apparent especially on your tastebuds the taste, or when you adjust your straw to those layers.

Starbucks: Toffee Nut Frappuccino


This drink was already introduced last year. Since my blog was put up this year, I will give you an idea what is the taste of this one. This drink is quite conservative, because of the ingredients and the preparation — No fancy syrups or other stuff was put into this one; but, among the three this has the strongest essence of roasted coffee topped with Toffee Nuts on the whip cream; so if you are sleepy and you want to be awaked, I recommend this one.

Starbucks: Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino


Among the three, this is the most challenging drink. The reason why is because, you will feel the minty taste of the peppermint colliding with the essence of the Mocha on your tastebuds — you will feel a heavy feeling on this drink. But this is only in my experience, but yet again, it will depend on the person's preference.

All I can say is whenever December is coming I feel excited everytime that Starbucks released a new drink to the market. So what are you waiting for, go get a drink.

Nora Aunor: Sa Ngalan Ending Episode Synopsis on TV-5

This post contains the episodes 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 of the TV soap opera Sa Ngalan ng Ina, starring Nora Aunor.

After Nora Aunor escaped from the hands of Ian De Leon and Rosanna Roces. A reward was announce for the heads of Ian and Rosanna by the Governor. Because of that announcement Ian always calls Rosanna what are they going to do and if its possible that he can claim the payment, Rosanna advise Ian to stay calm, but, Ian is so frustrated that once he was caught he will drag Rosanna down; on that threat Rosanna told Ian that she will give the payment to him.

Rosanna presented herself to the authority because she is innocent and the allegation that Nora throwing to her is not true. On the night were Rosanna will meet Ian for the payment, Rosanna gave the bag to Ian containing the payment which they talked about; while Ian is checking the content of the bag, Rosanna pulled out her gun and shot Ian, but Ian had a gun and managed to escaped and went directly to Deogracias residence. At the Deogracias premises, Ian ask for forgiveness to Nora and gave a flash disk which contains content of Ian having a transaction to Rosanna.

Now they have a hard evidence that proved Rosanna was the mastermind behind Nora's kidnapped and her torture. At the precint, Nora and Rosanna confronted each other regarding Rosanna's crime; Nora will decline the complain in return Rosanna will asked for her forgiveness, but Rosanna will not asked for forgiveness because of Nora did to her regarding Pepe; Rosanna asked Nora regarding her children was not kidnapped again, this time Elsa was kidnapped. Rosanna made a proposal to Nora that in order Elsa will be released, she need to kill herself. Angelo was on the pursuit of saving Elsa, Carmella told Angelo that they have a vacant property outside the town and there is a possibility that Elsa is there. Rosanna made a phone to the kidnapper, Nora advise the kidnapper to give any sweets because she is diabetic; While they are still on the phone, Angelo already at the scene, the kidnapper was was shot that time; at the precint while Nora will kill herself, when he heard the gunfire and the kidnapper was shot, there is a commotion on Nora's end, Rosanna was shot to the legs and went to prison, while Nora is still alive.

Nora Aunor: Sa Ngalan Ng Ina Episodes 18-19-20 on TV-5

The story of the episodes 18 and 19 covers the torture of Nora Aunor at the hands of Ian and Rosanna.

Ian also confess that he is the one who killed Amang because Amang failed to saved his family from his enemy, he made a pact that he will get his revenge.

The reason why Rosanna is so mad in Nora is because she is after the love of Christopher that she is looking for.

Nora experienced torture from Rosanna like beating her legs and putting her face at the drum.

Also someone at the premises heard the scream of Nora and reported the incident to the Police, Angelo rush to the place if any chance that his mother was there. There is an exchange of gunshot between Ian and the police, Ian was hurt and Nora was saved.
