Takoyaki: Another Philippine Streetfood
Another popular streetfood in Manila which is adapted from Japan is the popular streetfood Takoyaki. FYI, Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack originally, its ingredient is a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special takoyaki pan. It is typically filled with minced or diced octopus, tempura scraps (tenkasu), pickled ginger, and green onion. In the Philippines, those who offers this food uses Octopus combined with Mayonnaise and sprinkled with green laver.
Price may vary depending on the vendor who offers this product, I'll highly recomment to try this food especially younger generation Filipinos are enjoying eating it.
