When our cable provider SkyCable advise us to switch to their other plan because our Silver plan will deactivated and no longer be offered, we switched to their plan 499. I got bored because they deactivate Bloomberg channel, at same time additional 100 pesos to accessed it. I asked how much if I'm going to accessed their Mandarin Channel — I'm really hooked up in Asian movies, I was suprised because that channel is more expensive than Bloomberg, 150 pesos said by the customer service associate. So what I did is I told the representative to hold those two channels until the end of the month, going to make a decision whether I am going to pushed through or not.
Out of curiosity, I asked the agent again how much if I accessed the Screen Red channel which they are showing in the preview channel, I got interested because it offers a wide variety of Asian Movies unlike other channel which focus on one ethnicity. To my suprised, just for 50 pesos added to your plan, you can watched award winning Asian movies right to your living room. Besides Kix and Thrill channel, Screen Red will be another favorite channel.
Screen Red is owned by HBO. HBO also offers US movies to subscribers.
In short, this channel is the Asian version of HBO movies
So, Asian movie lovers out there especially living in the Urban Manila and SkyCable subscribers, I highly recommend this channel to you line-up its worth it if you are already tired with those nonsense channel.
